KiddieWink Escentials was founded by Ruth Antoine and her son Langston Pierre, an essential oil enthusiast.  Ruth is a mom of three and a clinical research scientist with nearly two decades years of scientific and medical research experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.  Ruth achieved great success in her career bringing valuable medicines to patients around the world. 

 

While pregnant and giving birth to her third child during the COVID pandemic, she joined a postpartum parent support group where she shared some of her regimes and practices for caring for her children and overcoming PPD. she realized many parents desperately yearned for natural remedies to support caring for babies, kids, moms and dads.  However, composing and diluting essential oils to create therapeutic blends can be burdensome for busy overworked caregivers.

Ruth wanted to make the same impact she made in the pharmaceutical/biotech world in holistic regimes.  KiddieWink Escentials was founded to do just that!  With her scientific and medical background, Ruth understood the benefits of natural properties of plant extracts.  She wanted to share her knowledge and traditional regimes with caregivers all over the world. During an interview about starting KiddieWink Ecentials she mentioned:

"I was born in Haiti, I remember my grandmother's regimes using plants, teas, and herbs.   Even after coming to the US, my mother continued the tradition by growing her own essential plants such as peppermint, rosemary, bitter melon and many others to support our overall health and immune systems.  With the support of my scientific and medical background, I found myself wanting to continue these practices for myself  as well as making it available to the general public..."
